Here come the military helicoptors again. Our unelected president is coming to Portland today (or "Little Beirut," as his father called to it.) I'm going downtown to join the protest and make sure he knows he's not welcome. If I don't post a follow up within 24 hours, there's a good chance I'll be in jail, but I don't plan on doing anything illegal, just excercising my right of free speach, so that's not likely to happen. Then again, I don't know how out of hand this might get. I've never been to any kind of demonstration, but when I heard about this, I decided I ought to lend my voice. I see it as voting with my whole body.
